Open An Active Trader Account
It is easy to open and fund an active trader account with Vision Financial Markets. Below you can find the necessary account applications (either individual & joint or entity) and supplemental documents which may be required. Please note that Vision’s account application includes a margin agreement which is required regardless of whether or not you intend to utilize overnight margin. In addition, Vision designates each active trader account as a day trading account and thus we also include a day trading disclosure in the applications. Should you have any questions regarding our documentation or need any assistance when completing any of the writeable PDF forms found below, please do not hesitate to contact Vision’s Client Services team at 1.877.836.3949 or via e-mail.
The following account documents are provided for the convenience of our prospective customers and may be downloaded. The free Adobe Acrobat Reader is required for viewing and printing these account forms. Click here to download the Reader if needed, or download the appropriate form(s) below.
Fund Your Account
Vision considers wires as cleared funds and allows you to trade immediately upon receipt of the funds. Once you are provided an account number, you may wire funds. Click here for wire transfer instructions.
Please make checks payable to "VISION FINANCIAL MARKETS LLC."
Generally, a transfer from another brokerage firm will be considered as cleared funds. All other instruments, including bank, cashier and personal checks, may require up to ten (10) days for bank clearance. Vision will not accept third party checks except those payable directly to you from other broker/dealers or from the Internal Revenue Service.

Options involve risk and are not suitable for all investors. Prior to buying or selling an option, a person must receive a copy of Characteristics and Risks of Standardized Options (with 1997 through 2012 supplements), November 2012 supplement to Characteristics and Risks of Standardized Options. Besides being accessible via our Web site, copies of the Options Disclosure Document are available from your Vision sales representative, or by calling 1-888-OPTIONS, or from The Options Clearing Corporation, One North Wacker Drive, Suite 500, Chicago, Illinois 60606.
Day trading strategies involve substantial risk and are not suitable for all investors. Due to the high volume of trades involved in day trading, commission costs can have a substantial impact on your investment return.
Please keep in mind that high volume, market volatility and congested system access could delay the execution of your trades.
